Carihi Secondary is a public high school in Campbell River, British Columbia part of SD 72 Vancouver Island and School District 93 Conseil scolaire francophone.
Carihi School opened in 1965 to accommodate the overpopulated Campbell River Middle/High School (now known as Ecole Phoenix Middle School). Carihi's name is most likely an abbreviation of Campbell River High, taking the first 2 letters of each word forming Ca-Ri-Hi.
The students at Carihi are active with the environment. The students have formed an environmental group concentrated on the community. Their environmental group in 2009 started the composting program that concentrated on the staff's refuse and they're hoping to expand throughout to the school.
